Guildford Choral Society was founded in 1839, early in Queen Victoria's reign. Today we are a dynamic amateur choir, performing with world-class orchestras and soloists in Guildford, London and occasionally abroad. Guildford Choral Society is delighted to announce that James Morgan has been appointed to succeed Hilary Davan Wetton who retires at the end of 2008 after forty years as Musical Director. An article describing the appointment process can be found at Selecting a new MD.

Our latest CD (Vaughan Williams: Hodie and Fantasia on Christmas Carols) was recently released on the Naxos label.
