    Description: Mass in Time of War
    Join us for an evening of powerful choral music exploring conflict, resilience, and hope.

    Conducted by Jonathan Willcocks and performed with the professional chamber orchestra Southern Pro Musica, the programme centres on Haydn’s dramatic Mass in Time of War (Paukenmesse), composed in 1796 amid wartime uncertainty and culminating in an affirming, triumphant conclusion.

    Also featured is Janet Wheeler’s vibrant contemporary work I Sing and Ever Shall, celebrating the universal human urge to sing.

    Soloists are Aneska Diament (soprano), Angelina Dorlin-Barlow (contralto), Jacob Cole (tenor), and Oliver Barker (bass).
